BUT, It really depends on your personal skill sets. This is a very personal business. It can be very emotional and stressful. You are reading these ads and thinking yea, I am a super motivated sales machine, until...90 days later and you find out that it's no walk in the park. I will say, our first-year people can realistically earn $50,000 to $75,000 and exceed $100,000 in years two and three. It's not "mega" earnings, but our system can easily push you to $300,000, $500,000 and we have dozens in the Million Dollar earnings range. Remember that 90% of first-year real estate brokers disappear in year one! If you make it to 5 are somewhat Golden, based on your business systems and staffing. If you are systematized and running your own brokerage at year 5, you can be set for LIFE! Unfortunately, this is traditionally a business that prays on the naivete of newer brokers. There's a sucker born every minute and a lot of them are working for some of the very companies that you are looking at right now! Many large companies depend on the 3-lifetime deals that they suck out of all the people they run through the broker mill! Choose wisely.
