Mental Health Coordinator

Summary:

BASIC REQUIREMENT(S): OPM Link: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0100/social-science-series-0101/ In addition, to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: plans, coordinates and evaluates a comprehensive program plan for a wide range and all phases of services, including preventative, institutional, outreach, rehabilitative, and community based services; plans programs and coordinates mental health care services in support of department goals; monitors compliance and identify area of need for improved efficiency, effectiveness and qualify of mental health services; makes recommendation for allocation of resources for provision of services for behavioral health issues; conducting quality assurance program for mental health care services. GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: coordinates and evaluates health care services in the area of mental health; collecting aggregates and analyzing mental health program data; working closely with mental health and social services providers in planning and implementing program activities; demonstrate independent clinical judgement in handling a wide range of complex behavioral health issues. Selective Placement Factor: Must possess a current unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) OR possess a current unrestricted license as a Psychologist. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
