The Telephone Operator provides a welcoming and positive first impression of Dayton Children’s Hospital by processing incoming, outgoing and interoffice calls regarding service, and patient information, The Telephone Operator responsibility also includes responding and accurately processing emergency notifications information, overhead pages and is a key member of the team for various emergency/disaster situations. The candidate should possess excellent customer service and must have good verbal and nonverbal communication skills, and have excellent keyboarding skills. Medical technology is a plus. REQUIRED: High School/GED. Basic knowledge with Microsoft Office and email programs. Good verbal and written communication skills. PREFERRED: 1-5 years, specializing in telecommunications.
This is a full-time position Monday through Friday from 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 AM.
