IT Technician

Opus Vehicle Titling and Registration is seeking an IT Technician to join our growing team in our Indianapolis office. The ideal candidate will be someone who can provide in-office and remote end user / PC support.

Supported services include software break-fix /remediation, installation, move, add, & change hardware and software.

Technical Skills:

Windows 7,8,10

PC hardware troubleshooting skills

MS Office 365

Knowledge of enterprise networking & printing

Knowledge of email systems

Knowledge of Network Area Storage systems

Knowledge of IP phone systems

Process Skills:

Excellent customer facing skills

Experience using ticket tools including responding to priorities, timely and relevant updates, use of ticket status (e.g. pend states), prompt closure

Additional skills include:

Working technical knowledge of standard Windows operating systems and commercial software such as Office 365

Ability to apply intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common IT and business issues

Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action

Follows established guidelines and interprets policies

Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations

Qualifications:

Intermediate experience supporting Enterprise-level clients with their PC support needs

Graduate or Diploma in Computer Science is not as important as real-world experience

Must have reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 to $20.00 /hour
