International Business Specialist

Babytower Inc. is a multi-tiered baby related product company engaged in retail, wholesale, distribution, importation, and marketing to millions of customers in China for over 13 years. Our partners come from all over the world, with more partnerships forming on a monthly basis. Babytower aims to help Chinese moms experience a happy motherhood by providing high-quality international products with high manufacturing standards. We are supplying over 200 Chinese consumer-facing brands within the maternity industry. We also own over 35 storefronts in prestige shopping malls in China. Our U.S. branch has just established in October, 2018 and located in Tustin, California. Position Description:

  • Work with Sales team in China to determine the needs of the customer to seek the appropriate products
  • Obtain pricing, lead time, and product specifications from vendors and communicate with Sales team
  • Design and implement various cost-effective strategies with new and existing vendors
  • Establishes new vendor relationships as required to meet project need
  • Prepares purchase orders (PO’s)
  • Follows-up with vendors to determine the status of orders
  • Expedites orders as required to maintain on-time order delivery
  • Communicates with all departments and resolves issues related to purchasing
  • Inspect received items for accuracy and consistency, reporting any issues to management and vendor
  • Maintain and develop a relationship with current vendors and manage vendor performance
  • Constantly be learning and aware of existing and new products within the product sphere
  • Work with Marketing and Sales team to advance knowledge base on the website and the other marketing medium
  • Management and coordination of shipments with both shippers/warehouse and carriers
  • Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and monitor/or tender shipments
  • Track and trace all shipments and load status

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 1 year Logistics / Transportation / Purchasing experience preferred
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Bilingual English and Mandarin is required (must fluent in Mandarin)
  • Legal working status is required (sorry No Visa Sponsorship)
